Remigio Van Eyes Chilaule

Treasurer

Remígio Chilaule is an architect and urban planner, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Physical Planning at UEM, where he currently teaches the nuclear laboratory chair. Among his projects, the co-authorship of the architectural debate proposal Futures of Mafalala, and the direction of the HUEIV laboratory laboratory.de.arquitectura, responsible for the construction project of the Mafalala Museum, stand out. Remígio also leads the community initiative #MapeandoMeuBairro, which seeks to fill the large gap in geospatial information about informal settlements in Mozambique, using participatory mapping methods and techniques. Remígio is also a volunteer activist for the Humanist Movement

Uzna Monteira

Project Coordinator (Graduated in Anthropology from Eduardo Mondlane University. And activist in social movements, having stood out as a feminist activist in Matabicho Feminista. Previously she has coordinated projects at ALTERNATIVA such as: Research and Popular Education towards climate justice: community based strategies against resource extraction and climate injustice in rural Mozambique; and Adapting the power, transforming the region – regional coalition towards inclusive climate change adaptation.
